Medium-Torque Ball Spline Model LF Product Lineup Expanded with New Models LF80 and LF100

 THK has expanded the lineup of its Medium-Torque Ball Spline Model LF products with the addition of the Model LF80 and the Model LF100.

Medium-Torque Ball Spline Model LF

 Ball splines are linear motion guides that transmit torque while the nut moves with smooth linear motion caused by balls rolling along raceways precisely ground into the spline shaft. The Model LF, in particular, has a flange that can be bolted to a housing for ease of installation. It is optimal for locations where the housing may be deformed if a keyway is machined on its surface or where the housing is narrow..

 Until now, the Model LF lineup has included 11 model types, with spline shaft diameters ranging from ⌀6 to ⌀60. The new Model LF80 and Model LF100 offer spline shaft diameters of ⌀80 and ⌀100, respectively. With these new model types, the Model LF can be used in an even wider range of applications, from medical devices to semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
