Press Fit Type Linear Bushing LMHB
THK is now accepting orders for the LMHB, a linear bushing that is assembled by being press-fit into a housing.
The LMHB is a linear bushing that is assembled by press fitting the unit inside a housing. It reduces assembly time and helps with automating assembly and boosting productivity.
The LMHB achieves smooth, silent motion with no gaps thanks to the spring effect provided by the proprietary curved metal plates designed by THK, which minimize clearance between the balls and LM shaft. In addition, the external dimensions conform to international ISO 10285 Series 1 standards and help keep machine designs compact, reducing the space that equipment takes up. A lineup of six sizes with shaft diameters ranging from Ø8 to Ø20 is available.
This is a new product that was developed in response to the many needs customers have shared with THK. The company will continue to develop and propose products that meet the needs of a variety of fields.
Features
Simple installation through press fitting
Unlike conventional linear bushings that use a metal nut, this product can easily be installed by press fitting it into a housing. This significantly reduces the number of steps for installation and drastically accelerates the process.
Minimizes clearance for smooth, silent motion
The LMHB achieves smooth, silent motion thanks to the spring effect provided by the proprietary curved metal plates designed by THK, which minimize clearance between the balls and LM shaft.
